Every New Pak Surgical Electric Wheelchair unless stated otherwise is covered by a 6 month warranty under the terms of the “User Manual and Warranty Policy Guide” provided with the sale of our products. The product is warranted for a period of 6 months for the electronic components namely the Joystick/Controller and Motors. The warranty does not cover accidental breakage, wear and tear or water damage.
Our warranties are resolved within 3 working days from the day the wheelchair arrives at our technical warehouse in Lahore, Punjab.
(Based on available inventory) We have Motors, Joystick/Controller, Battery, Wheels, tubes, Plastic Footrests, Chargers and Cushions. Any spare part required can be ordered on an advance ordering basis.
Yes! New Pak Surgical is the first of its kind wheelchair supplier that can provide personalizations of our electronic wheelchair range. We have to remain limited in our approach so as to not compromise on the design. We can provide body supports, color customisations and specific placement positions for the Controller/Joystick. For example, if the user can use the claws of their feet more efficiently than their hands, we can position the controller to be at a position that can be reached by their feet. Such customisations, depending on the nature, can vary in price.
Most of our wheelchairs are fitted with 250w motors fitted to each wheel. Such wheelchairs are capped at 6km/hr. Increasing the speed can cause the motors to deteriorate quicker. Our UK/US imported wheelchairs have speeds upto 10-12km/hr depending on the variant.
If a battery is 24V12ah, and the charger current is 2ah, that would mean that it would take 6 hours to fully charge a 12ah battery. 2ah x 6 = 12. (General Rule)
Your wheelchair battery box will display the type of battery fitted in your wheelchair. Most Chinese wheelchairs, unless mentioned otherwise, are Lead Acid. Wheelchairs that are lighter, are usually fitted with Lithium Ion Batteries.
- All New Pak Surgical wheelchairs, unless specified otherwise, come with a document that proves that the wheelchair batteries are safety regulated in accordance with the International Air Transport Association. However, we still recommend that our clients get in touch with the airline about their queries regarding their airline, as different airlines might have their own set of rules when it comes to traveling with battery operated wheelchairs.
Most of our electronic wheelchairs can be driven on roads, grass, city streets, dirt tracks, however, continuously driving the wheelchair on uneven surfaces may cause the wheelchair to deteriorate quicker. We would not recommend the use of
this product of roads with ditches, open water channels, potholes, or terrains that are extremely uneven.
